12. Juli legger Martin ut på sin lengste rotur. 3000km på seks uker skal tilbakelegges. Fra Kirkenes til Oslo.
Halve laget på fire skal ro, mens to hviler.
Man bytter hver andre time - døgnet rundt. Vi håper å komme helt til Oslo til 21. August.

Vi rydder marint avfall der vi stopper underveis.
Det vi rekker å rydde dekker deler av turens utgifter, og alt utover dette går uavkortet til Plastfritt Hav.

Vi håper at mange vil bli med. Skoler, folkehøgskoler, dykkerklubber, friluftsgrupper, bedrifter og alle som bryr seg om havet er hjertelig velkomne.

Erfaringene og møtene underveis brukes til å utvikle nye metoder for rydding og restaurering av marin natur, samtidig som vi dokumenterer reisen og produserer innhold til blant annet Mr. Goodfish om bærekraftig sjømat.

On July 12th, Martin sets out on his longest rowing journey. Over six weeks, 3,000 km will be covered from Kirkenes to Oslo.
Half of the four‑person crew will row while the other two rest, switching every two hours around the clock. We hope to reach Oslo by August 21st.

The theme of the expedition is marine life and marine pollution.

We pick up marine debris wherever we stop along the coast. What we manage to collect helps cover part of the expedition’s costs, and everything beyond that goes directly to Plastfritt Hav.

We hope many will join in. Schools, diving clubs, outdoor groups, companies, and anyone who cares about the ocean are warmly welcome to take part.
